20th December, Brighton away. Slick passing and seaside wind await.
27th December, Leeds visit the Stadium of Light. This one’s likely to involve missed chances, dodgy defending, and the kind of refereeing that sends pundits into meltdown.
Then it’s 30th December, and City again—this time at home. A different setting. Same problem.
January – New Year, New Problems
A cold trip to North London greets the lads on 3rd January, as they face Spurs. Might be a battering. Might be a bore draw. Who knows?
7th January, Brentford again, away this time. Those who like industrial estate football grounds and tactical slugfests are in for a treat.
