Luton Town’s dominance of League One shows no real sign of abating and they further extended their amazing unbeaten league run to 25 games courtesy of a 2-2 draw with Gillingham last time out, however there are signs that the Hatters are slowing down in their push for promotion. Mick Harford’s men have dropped points in all-but-two of their last five outings and this has been a huge disappointment given their blistering form for much of the campaign. Fortunately for them their main title rivals have failed to take advantage of this slow-down but only five points now separate them from the rest of the chasing pack and a winning streak is desperately needed, starting on Saturday with the visit of fellow promotion-hopefuls Doncaster Rovers.

Doncaster Rovers head to Kenilworth Road on the back of a hard-fought goal-less draw with high-flying Barnsley and this was enough to keep them in contention for a top-six finish. Indeed the South Yorkshire side sit sixth in the League One table as things stand although with things very tight in that section of the division, there is little margin for error and failure to win this weekend could see Rovers spiralling down the table.
Doncaster have now gone six league games without a win and as such their promotion bid is looking rather shaky. Four of those games have been away from home and it must be said that the side have been far from impressive on their travels. Despite Luton Town’s recent dip in form, we remain confident that they can continue their excellent home form by collecting all three points at Kenilworth Road this weekend and thus extend their unbeaten league run to 26 games, Coral Bookmakers going 5/6 on Luton Town to win.
