Isco has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time nw but the bookmakers have now slashed the odds on the Spaniard joining Chelsea in the January transfer window. The Real Madrid player was priced at 10/1 earlier this week but William Hill Bookmakers have now cut his odds to just 5/2 for a move to Stamford Bridge this month.
Reports from the bookmakers suggest that nearly 90% of all bets in this market over the past 24 hours have been on Isco making a move to Chelsea and punters are expecting an announcement to be made at some time over the next few days.
The midfielder has had a somewhat strained relationship with his current club Real Madrid this term and he now finds himself surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu despite the recent departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. The 26-year-old is just 6/4 to leave Real Madrid this month and while Chelsea are firm favourites to secure his signature, other Premier League clubs remain in the bidding with Manchester City 4/1 with BetVictor Bookmakers and Arsenal 8/1 with the same firm.
Maurizio Sarri would be more than happy to welcome Isco to Stamford Bridge given that Eden Hazard has long been linked with a move in the opposite direction. With the Blues having already signed Christian Pulisic, many pundits expect the west London side to dip into the market again very soon, Isco certain to add some creativity to the side.
