Norwich City continue to cling onto pole position in the Championship table as we rapidly head towards the half-way mark of the campaign. They don’t have things all their own way at the summit of the division however with several other sides breathing down their necks and Daniel Farke’s men cannot afford to slip up when they entertain struggling Bolton Wanderers at Carrow Road this weekend.
Leeds United sit second in the table with just a single point separating them from the Canaries and they have a tough assignment ahead of them when they welcome to Elland Road a QPR side which have been much improved of late. Third-placed West Bromwich Albion get things underway on Friday evening when they entertain local rivals Aston Villa while fellow promotion-hopefuls Middlesbrough will look to bounce back from their defeat at home to the Villans when they face Blackburn Rovers at the Riverside Stadium.
At the opposite end of the Championship table, things certainly aren’t looking too good for Ipswich Town with the Tractor Boys sitting seven points adrift as things stand. The East Anglians have picked up just a single win from their opening twenty league outings and we don’t expect their woes to be eased when they travel to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
Who will be the Championship winners and losers this weekend? Here’s what we think…
