Bradford City v Peterborough United Match Preview & Free Bets

Bradford earned themselves a replay in the FA Cup courtesy of two late goals, however can they see off the Posh on Tuesday evening?

After going two goals down and seemingly destined for a second-round exit from this season’s FA Cup, Bradford City bravely fought back and scored two goals in the closing six minutes at Peterborough last weekend, thus keeping their third-round ambitions very much alive. They have a second chance to grab themselves a place in the draw for the next round when they welcome the Posh to Valley Parade for the resultant replay on Tuesday evening although to be fair we’re not convinced that the Bantams can shock Peterborough a second time, the bookmakers giving away free bets on Bradford City v Peterborough United.

Bradford City have thus far endured a thoroughly disappointing season with the West Yorkshire side sitting firmly at the foot of the League One table with just fourteen points for their efforts, however success in the FA Cup would certainly boost confidence considerably and could spark an upturn in fortunes in their league campaign. Indeed the Bantams have been showing a few signs of improvement of late with just a single defeat in their last five games and they will certainly provide the Posh with some meaningful opposition in this cup clash.

Peterborough may have dropped from pole position in League One but they sit just two points behind the top-two in the division and have generally been in excellent shape for most of the campaign. They have won four and drawn three of their last seven outings and as such, confidence will be sky-high in the visiting camp ahead of this match. Indeed the Posh have had few issues finding the net on their travels with boss Steve Evans adopting an attacking approach which has thus far worked pretty well. We expect to see this tactic adopted at Valley Parade on Tuesday evening and as such we’ll be siding with an away win for Peterborough United, BetVictor Bookmakers going 11/8 on Peterborough to win.
