Djokovic v Zverev to go over 33.5 Games at odds of 10/11 with William Hill Bookmakers
Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev have been experiencing very different fortunes of late and the evidence suggests that there can only be one winner in what could well prove to be a hugely one-sided affair. If only it were that simple!
Zverev has been far from his best recently but he has been playing pretty well without the added pressure of expectations and in all honesty, he isn’t expected to fare well against Djokovic today so expectations will be low. Nevertheless prior to Roland Garros he had won his last eight outings and as such confidence will have returned to the Zverev camp.

Thus far Djokovic has had a relatively easy time of things at this tournament with no real tests as yet, however this may not work in his favour as he comes up against a challenger who is more than capable of beating him. Zverev edged past the Serb in the finals of the 2018 ATP and on clay at Rome the previous year, therefore this match may not be as one sided as many expect it to be. Djokovic will need to be wary as he looks to protect his serve and while he will certainly look to attack at each opportunity, we envisage Zverev providing the world number one with a very strong challenge on the day and making him work hard for his win.
