Arsenal have been red-hot under Unai Emery for much of the season, however they have hit a sticky patch of late with just a solitary win in their last four Premier League outings, a disappointing run which has seen them thrashed 5-1 by a rampant Liverpool side and lose 1-0 to city rivals West Ham United in their last match. As such they won’t be relishing the prospect of facing Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this weekend with the Blues putting in some excellent performances in recent weeks and we certainly don’t expect the Gunners to be returning to winning ways on Saturday evening.

Chelsea bounced back from their surprise defeat at home to Leicester City by dropping just two points from their subsequent four Premier League outings and as such the Blues have opened-up a sizeable gap of six points between themselves and weekend opponents Arsenal. They will be going all-out to ensure that this gap remains intact on Saturday although given that the Gunners have one of the best home records in the top-flight, it’s a big ask to expect the visitors to return home with the spoils in the bag.
Arsenal’s only defeat in front of their home fans was against Manchester City in their opening Premier League match of the season and this particular statistic is very difficult to ignore. We don’t envisage the hosts edging their way to three points this weekend but with Chelsea struggling without an in-form striker right now, we’ll be siding with the spoils being shared in north London on Saturday evening, BetVictor Bookmakers going 27/10 on a draw.
